Glass with glazing bars

A stylish piece of architecture

Glazing bars are decorative strips that divide the surface of the glass into smaller segments: they are usually colour-matched to the window frames. Due to the wide range of choices, they blend in perfectly with different architectural styles, from traditional to contemporary, while adapting to modern design requirements. They are perfect for residential buildings, hotels, and guest houses, giving them a unique style.

Adaptation to individual preferences

Personalisation is a major advantage of glazing bars. Glazing bars can be used in straight, angled, and curved arrangements. They are installed in the space between the glass panes and are available in different widths:

  • 8 mm
  • 18 mm
  • 26 mm
  • 45 mm (the 45 mm width is for straight layouts only, as it is not subject to bending)

A wide range of colours and wood veneers is available to customers, with the option to combine different colours or veneers on two sides of the glazing bar as well as combining these techniques. As a result, glass with glazing bars can be perfectly integrated into the type of façade and interior styling. An undoubted advantage of the internal glazing bars is that they are maintenance-free.

Blind glazing bars

Another type of glazing bars we offer are the so-called blind glazing bars, otherwise known as Duplex. These are internal glazing bars imitating spacer bars, used primarily in wooden windows where external wooden strips are applied to divide the window into smaller segments. We offer these glazing bars in all frame colours and in the following dimensions:

  • 8 x 20 mm; 8 x 24 mm; 8 x 30 mm
  • 10 x 20 mm; 10 x 24 mm; 10 x 30 mm
  • 12 x 18 mm; 12 x 20 mm; 12 x 24 mm; 12 x 30 mm
  • 14 x 24 mm; 14 x 30 mm
  • 16 x 18 mm
